Skye Catalina C-M. was early this morning to my second cousin Faith, who I've always been very close to. She joins Faith, dad Scott, big brother Felix (age 2) and cousin Marius (age 3). We're so excited! 6 pounds seven ounces of gorgeousness, and she joins in this weird family tradition of being born on the fourteenth of the month (Faith and I are both April 14th, Marius is December, Felix is March, our great-grandmother was August).

As to the naming choices, the Catalina was after me and they wanted an S-name to go with Scott, like Faith and Felix.
