What do you think of Elissa? I like how it has been used so long and how it's a classic but I fear people will think it's trendy and misspelled.
I pronounce it eh-LISS-a or el-LISS-a (not like Alyssa which I pronounce more like al-ISS-ah or uh-LISS-a).
However I guess most people pronounce Elissa and Alyssa the same which would make it a very common name. Or do you think the difference in clear and noticeable?
Better use it in the middle?
