It's pretty when pronounced that way, but a little fancy for me. I'm more of an Elva type.
Seeing it written, I'm afraid it's ruined for me by having had the Oak Ridge Boys' singing and the image of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark lodged in my impressionable brain. I guess those things are forgettable for someone named today, though, or at least can be easily laughed off.
