Re: Suzette
Coincidence - I was at work yesterday and there was a Suzette there! I only saw her briefly - she w as small and dark I think. I rolled the name around in my head after I heard it.I can see it's appeal - I'd say it's the French equivalent of an old lady name! I see it as a dynamic name but a bit dusty at the same time if that makes sense. OT - When I was in school and picked the name Cécile to use in French class my teacher told me it was old-fashioned and would not be used in France.I really like Susanna as well by the way and Susanne.

A real life Suzette. Awesome, since I've not come across one. I did find one the internet, courtesy of Google: http://www.suzettebarbier.com/ .I like Cecile!

Cecile is pretty. I can't imagine it being old-fashioned at all. A lot of the names popular in France now (usually the non-French ones) sound so snooty and posh to me, not elegant like Cecile.
