All the boring classics-- I love Thomas, William, James, Richard, Theodore, and even Robert's ok... but I can't stand any nicknames for them. Will I can live with, I think Dickie is cute for a little boy, but the rest? Blah. I know lots of guys with names like Michael and David who always get called Mike and Dave whether they want it or not-- for some names it's inescapable!

Girls: I like Margaret, but can't stand Meg (sounds like Mega-) or Maggie (sounds like maggot), Marg, Margie and Madge are even worse!

I like Tamara a lot, but Tami is awful imho.
