Savannah nickname
So, I used to be averted to this name. I didn't like it all too much until I realized that "Savvy" could be used as a nickname.Thoughts?

I like Savannah. It has a the feel of a spunky Southern belle. I don't really like Savvy though. I don't think it needs one but if I were to use one, it would probably be Van, Vanny or Annie.

Funny, I used to really dislike it as well and now I kind of like it. I like Savvy, too but I guess I'd just call her by her full name. Oh and I will open a Savannah thread, I need some opinions on the full name :P

I don't like it. To me the word "savvy" connotes the kind of slickness or shrewdness one needs to con others, or to avoid being conned. So it sounds kind of oily and aggressive to me somehow.I think the name Savannah is nice, though, and if the nick were spelled Savi I think some people could probably pull it off and have it not sound greasy.

I adore the name Savannah, and Savvy is a really cute nick name. I like the sound of it a lot, but I really don't like the 2 v's next to each other. Luckily nick names usually arent written down.
A + from me
