Roger
What do you think of this name? It's starting to grow on my more lately. I've thought about trying to incorporate it as a MN somehow as Rogers is my last (maiden) name but I just never liked it enough and am still not totally sure.Rogers "Ian" is a combo I had on my list before - wdyt? Any other ideas?

Do not do it! It is outdated for a reason. It is not a nice name for a boy who is younger than 50.
If you really want to use it (because it is your maiden name), use it as a middle or a second middle name

I really like Roger. It is a bit dated and old-fashioned sounding, but it really has a certain charm. It just sounds so warm and kind. Here are some Roger combos...Roger Nolan - This one is my favorite!
Roger Graham
Roger Allen
Roger Benedict
Roger Quinn
Roger Finnian
Roger Aled
Roger Cyrus
Roger Kendrick

Penske makes the name good, but that space alien from American Dad limits it from being an excellent name.

I really like Roger. I never paid much attention to it until a certain book character made me like it a lot more. It's very dashing to me now.Aww, lucky your maiden name is good for using in a name! I just had a talk with DH the other day about how I wish mine was, but I don't like it for one.Why not Ian Rogers instead of Rogers Ian? I like the sound of that better. It also reminds me of a friend from school named Ian Edwards. Same sort of situation.Roger Cormac is my favorite combo... Rogers Cormac. I guess they're nearly interchangable. I'd just try to pair it with something not too strictly traditional because I think that might make the whole name sound too preppy.

I think I would like the name Roger more if I didn't associate it so much with a cable company. That being said, it could really grow on me because it is also the name of Pongo's owner from 101 Dalmations, which I love! Plus, it makes me think of the tennis player, Roger Federer. Since it has special significance for you, I could definitely see it working!I would prefer Roger Ian or Ian Rogers if you wanted to keep the 's'. I think that's a handsome combo!Suggestions:Roger Abram
Roger Isaac
Roger Henry
Roger Allan
Roger David
Roger Declan
Roger Malachi
Roger Wesley
Roger Owen
