Avalon
Just heard this was someone's daughter's name. What do you think?

I like it. It used to be one of my favorite names when I was in middle school. Actually, it's one of the first names I remember thinking was really cool, back when I first got into names. Now it's no longer one of my absolute favorites, but I'd still consider it.

I like it. There was a time when it was my favorite and I think it's very pretty. Lately though it just makes me think of the Toyota Avalon rather than Arthurian legend.

I quite like it. I also like Aveline, which has a similar sound.

I like it! I know it's a cheesy fictional place name, but I can't help it. :P I think it's elegant / pretty and has cool mythology behind it.

I knew the mother of an Avalon: her DH insisted on it because of some song that he liked. The child did Irish dancing until her toes bled.I don't like it, but at least - unlike Nevaeh, which it otherwise resembles - it is spelt in the right direction.

It's alright. I love Arthurian names, but in this case I think it sounds like someone is trying too hard to give their daughter a fantasy name.
