Christiana
What are your opinions on Christiana?

I've got, or I had, two great-grandmothers named Christiana. I'm willing to be fond of it, but not to use it: I prefer it to Christine and Christina, but it might give the wrong impression in an atheist household. Any child of mine who wanted to become a Christian could use it as a baptismal name, of course, or a confirmation name or whatever.
And Christianna Brand is a good namesake!

I think it's a little overdone. I prefer Christina.
Just a smidge on the long side for me. I'd prefer Christianne or Chrisanne. I guess it'd be kind of a neat way to get Tia as a nickname. I'm never sure if Tia is really substantial enough to be a full name, but I do like it.
It's long, but I like it. I know a Krystiana. I also like Kristiana (sort of) and Cristiana (better than Christiana, I think, just because it doesn't look as complicated without the h).
It's decent, but Christiana is close enough to Christina and Briana that it doesn't seem all that refreshing even though it's not a very common name. Christina and -iana names, such as Briana, are past their heyday and seem dated. I'm sure that Christina will be ready for revival eventually, but there were so many Christinas born in the 1970's and 1980's. I've known a bunch of Christinas, so it still strikes me as overused.
