Firstly, they are not "thugs". They are very often simply white working class British (or NEDs tends to be a Scottish term exclusively, no?) so, the names I associate are commonly used names like:

Any nickname ending in -z. Ie Harry being 'Haz' or 'Hazzer' or Tanya 'Taz' is pretty common too.
