I'm Australian, so our accents are only slightly different!
Dante is pronounced DAHN-tay. It really should be pron. DAHN-te, but it's rarely spoken that way in Australia. We pronounce
Sofia sof-EE-ah. It's more reminiscent of the Italian pronunciation, since we have an Italian background- which probably makes it easier for us to say it that way, and more noticeable when others don't.
