Gussie & Dot
What do you think about Dot/ Dottie and Gussie as sisters?I was thinking either Dorothea & Augusta or Dorothy and Augustine...Do you like them as sisters? What full names would you use to come up with these nick names? Thanks for the help!

Cute but I would prefer Gussie for a boy. They are adorable though.I like Augusta, Augustina, and Augustine for a girl (in that order) and August, Augustin, and Augustus (in that order) for a boy. Dorothy is lovely!

Very cute.I only like Augustine on a boy though, Augusta is the only form I'd use on a girl.

Both sister combos are adorable, although I like Dorothea and Augustine.

omg cuteAdorable, I'm in love. For full names I guess it depends what "look" you're going for - Dorothea and Augusta are like Georgian era countesses, Dorothy and Augustine are more offbeat and modern in a mismatched-complimentary kind of way. I personally love Dorothea and Augustine together because they are so over the top frilly together.

I think Gussie and Dot are totally adorable and have a quirky vintage thing going on.For full names I think I'd go with Dorothy and Augusta. They have a very sweet, more sophisticated thing going on together.

Dottie is cute but Gussie is just very unatractive
I love Dorothea and Augusta(:

Absolutely adorable! I like Dorothea and Augusta - on someone else's children, mind you, but I love it! I have met both a Gussie and Dot (in their 60s) and both were delightful ladies. Not sisters though, that would have been too good to be true.

I can tollerate Dottie, but find Gussie really horrible, sorry. But I do like Dorothea and Augusta well enough, they make a pleasant sibset.

Very sweet..as long as they are just nicknames!I like Dorothea & Augusta, perfect together...Dorothy and Augustine feels very missmatched. I'd prefer Dorothy & Augusta or Dorothea & Augustine. Or even better, Theodora & Augustine! That seems more even.I knew a little girl once who went by Dot, because that was her intials (D something, Olive Therese) so thats a possibility- DOT and GUS initials. That's all I got :)
