I've heard of Jerry for Geraldine. Specifically, I mean the masculine spelling. Jeri or Geri wouldn't be thought of as masculine at all.

I've also heard Reggie for Regina before. Reggie, the girl from the cartoon Rocket Power, was actually named Regina.
