Opinions on Declan
WDYT of Declan. It's really been growing on me recently. No nicknames

I love it. It's strong and manly.
My fear: with celebrity BAs of Decklinn/Declynn for girls, I fear that this handsome brogue laden lad will become a girls trend of names that sound like deck-LINN.
And while, to me, it would seem like murdering a whole breed of rugged men with wool sweaters and scruffy faces from long shifts of work in the ocean air....Someone, somehere decided that it was one of the "LYNN" names. Kaylinn, Jaylinn, Maytlinn, Decklinn..... And if I used Declan in all is masculine magesty, I would be even more mournful to see him become a shallow trend.....

I really like it. It's on my list. I also prefer it without a nickname.
I like it. It's strong and handsome.
I get one image when I see the name Declan, a little brat from Supernanny!
I don't care for it. It just seems harsh and unattractive to me. I suppose my opinion is coloured by the fact that a real yahoo I know named her son that last year...except they spelled it "Declin" *shudders* yup, one "e" short of Decline. >insert eye roll
I like it. It used to be one my favorites, but I've let it go as my sister has it on her top 10 and she's far more likely to have children before me. So I tend to use it a lot when writing lol
I think it has a pleasant sound, and I like the nn Dec. I like that it sounds kinda playful but at the same it can be used comfortably in a professional setting by an adult.

I like Declan a lot. And I like the nickname Decs (Dex?) or Dec. I wonder if this one is going to take off in the near future. It feels just similar enough to the trends that it could get pretty popular.
I like it followed by an M name - which I notice are curiously absent on you PNL. My favorites:
Declan Montgomery
Declan Malachi
Declan Mack
And not an M, but: Declan Amadeus.

I usually like it. Some days I can't help but think "de clan" though...
I don't like any nicknames for it either.
