I like Rachel. I think it's a nice, solid classic that I don't actually hear very often. I've only met a few in my entire life. I think I'd probably pair it with a more unusual middle name, something with sparkle and flash, to balance the calm and straightforward feeling I get from Rachel.

I love it! It's my favorite Biblical name.

I prefer it a lot more as a middle name; it's more interesting in the middle (imo)It's my own name. I guess I don't dislike it, but it's not very interesting. I'm not sure if I'd like it much if it weren't my name.

It's ok, but a bit dull and overused, and not my favourite biblical female name anyway.

It's plain, but I still like it.Something like Rachel Jane or Rachel Samantha-- anything unassuming and boring/plain, but still pretty.

Honestly, I prefer Rachael. The more standard Rachel spelling always looks like it's missing something to me. Rachael takes care of that (and it helps that my dad's middle name is Michael). But you seem to like Rachel better, so we'll run with this spelling.Rachel needs something far gentler as a middle name:Rachel Amber
Rachel Amina
Rachel Amira
Rachel Eileen
Rachel Maureen
Rachel May
Rachel PearlOff the top of my head. :-)

Rachel Fleur
Rachel Nadia
Rachel Audrey

I love Rachel. It's a beautiful classic name. It's also the name of my best friend. I might use it someday. My combos are Rachel Virginia, Rachel Elanor, and Rachel Hope.

I love the name Rachel! It would be on my list, but I have a sister named Rachel(11) and a sister-in-law also named Rachel (16). They are Rachel Louise and Rachel Dawn. I also think Rachel Anne has a nice ring to it
