I know a Joanna that goes by Joey. It's really just a fun nickname from high school that friends would call her. At first I thought it was a little strange as Joey is more for a 5 yr old boy to me, not a young woman but it's grown on me.

I see it more for Joanna though. For Josephine I'd rather not see a nickname (as I love the name too much to give it a nickname).
