Avonlea and Aurelian?
Just wondering what your thoughts are on the name Aurelian? I go back and forth between seeing it as "too" feminine or too pretentious. However, its saving grace is its meaning. My favourite combo at the moment is Aurelian Cosmo, but there are moments when I doubt its flow. Suggestions? On another note,I've been going through a "liteary chic" name phase, and so I'm loving names like Lysander, Atticus, Holden, Hermione, Guinevere...you get the drift.
My latest favourite is Avonlea, pronounced, for anyone curious, Aven-lee. It's the name of the fictional town in the Anne of Green Gables series. I adore it because when Anne first hears it, she remarks, "it sounds like a song!." However, I am having difficulty finding a good middle name for it. First, I thought of
Avonlea Charlotte, but as Avonlea is set in P.E.I. and its capital is Charlottetown, I dropped that very quickly. Suggestions?

I love Aurelian, but personally, I'd stick with the Roman "Aurelius". It masculinizes it a little more. I hate the name Cosmo because to me, it screams Cosmo and Wanda from Fairly Odd Parents (the show ruined the name for me). Here are some ideas: (okay, so I kept getting stuck using it as a middle name...)James Aurelian
Ethan Aurelius
Aurelius Evander
Aurelius Jasper
Constantine Aurelius (it's mouthful, but it has an irresistible rhythm)
Aurelius Mark (i couldn't help it. i'm a roman history buff)
Aurelian Judas
Albus Aurelian
Felix Aurelius
Aurelian Oliver
Victor AureliusI think I prefer longer middle names, and it's hard to find anything longer than Aurelian.
I wasn't crazy about Avonlea at first, until I heard how it was pronounced and where it came from. Now I love it.Avonlea Sibyl
Avonlea Katrina
Avonlea Nicolette
Avonlea Esther
Avonlea Madeline
Avonlea Jane
Avonlea Dana
Avonlea Diana
Avonlea West
