Theodora is just lovely. I prefer it to Dorothea. I kind of like Dorothea, but I've never been too fond of Dorothy, which it might be confused with. Dorothy is a bit too close to the word "dorky" for my liking.

TheodoraIt feels less cumbersome and rolls off my tongue better. Also, I'd call her Thea so it makes more sense for me. Having said that, I do like Dorothea -- just not as well. And also, I really find Dorothy to be quite frumpy and dated and well, Dorothea is just Dorothy with an 'a.' IOW, people would hear Dorothy first before they realize it's Dorothea. ;-)

TheodoraBut we already knew that. I like Dorothea too, but not nearly as much as evocative Theodora. Love the nicknames Theo and Teddy too.

TheodoraThis was kind of tricky. I like both names, but I slightly prefer Theodora.

Dorothea! It's so willowy and dramatic! I love Theodora, too, but Dorothea strikes a deeper chord with me.
