Re: Paul
I don't get creepy at all. Boring perhaps, but not creepy. I like it as a mn sometimes, as in Thaddeus Paul.I love seeing forgotten classics revived so I'd be thrilled to meet a baby Paul. But I admit it's not a favorite. I much prefer it in its feminine variants Pauline and Paulina.Perhaps the creepy vibe comes from a religious association in your mind with St. Paul and how he wants women to be treated. I'm not saying he is or isn't creepy. But some people might react that way. (I don't wan to start a whole OT stream on this so I've kept it as neutral as I can.)

lol. Actually my creepy vibe comes from something somewhat similarbut not really - it comes from knowing a Paul from a very traditional, very close-minded family. He was also a very awkward young man. I was hoping this post could allow me to get over my feelings of Paul but no go.As for Paul & women: I was actually taught in premarital class an interesting take idea on the command that a woman must surrender to her husband. I'll dig up my notes and e-mail it you - it's very different that the normal interpretation.
