It sounds very sophisticated and royal to me. I like it better paired with a "lighter", more feminine name - something like Maud Emily, Maud Charlotte, Arabella Maud, or Isadora Maud.My personal combo is Maud Isabelle Florence.

Arabella Maud is delightful. And Isadora Maud has "Art Nouveau chic" written all over it. Nice ones.Maud Emily is very sweet. But Maud Charlotte makes me think she sleeps alot. I don't know why.
