I love Samuel. I think it's very nice, but I hate it's popularity.

I like it, but it's too popular for me to consider using as a first name. Also, I had a bad encounter with a Samuel, so I wouldn't use it because of that as well.

I think it's very safe, if you know what I mean. I don't like the myoo-ul sound in it. I like Sam, though.

I love the name Samuel. It was the name of my great-great-grandfather and my great-grandfather, so that helps me love it more. But is it too popular right now? I have to check that out. I love Sam as a nickname, but not Sammy.

I like Samuel, but am not the biggest fan of Sam. I think I might like to use Samuel in a middle name spot one day.

I feel exactly the same. I would love to see Samuel used in it's entirety, so it would probably end up a middle name.
I am hoping for my brother to use Samuel Christopher if he has a boy.. I know everyonw will call him Sam but I can call him Samuel :-)
