You're not weird, those names flow horribly. The -son at the end of both
Alyson
and
Mason
is glaring. (The spelling
Alyson
, too, makes me want to pronounce it ALL-ee-son - urgh - same with
Madyson
.)
Alexandra
Anderson
is just a tongue twister.

Its true... no worse than one of my students who's first name is
Georgia
... and her last is Jorgenson...
