Re: Cypress and Scottie
I know at least 4 girls named Scottie (not including Scottie Fitzgerald :P), and Scottie is the given name for all of them. I find the name quite darling. A little tomboyish, but sweet. And very usable, IMO. At least it works well for all the Scotties I know.Cypress is interesting, and works well in the MN slot. I love Victoria Cypress.

No way! I've actually never heard of a girl Scottie besides Frances Scott Fitzgerald, but this just made my day! Are any of them adults? What I mean is, will it carry into adulthood? That question is always kind of funny, because I know of adults named Rosie, Lacey, Mary-Lou, etc, and they all get along just fine. But I'm still curious. :)For some reason now I'm thinking of Lacey Scott "Scottie". Hm.Thanks!

All of the Scotties I know are in their 20's or early 30's, and they're all still known as Scottie! One's a doctor, one I knew in college and I'm not sure what she's doing now (acting?), and 2 are in college, so I think they're getting along fine with Scottie as a name. :)
