Re: Cordelia vs. Cornelia
This is a toss-up for me. I like both but don't love either; it's very close to 'six of one, half dozen of another.' Cordelia sounds a hint more on trend than Cornelia, which leans toward the old lady end of things. But Nell is a more revive-able old fashioned nickname than the logical Cordelia counterpart Del. Del is old in an uncool way, hehe. I'd probably go with Cordelia. My grandmother had a cousin Cordelia "Cordy" that she mentions fondly; that hardly means a thing to me but it'd be an interesting little snippet for my family to throw on if they mentioned the name. And for as uncool as Del is, it's a favorite female nickname of mine (usually for Fidelma). Do you have middle name ideas? That might sway it for me.

No mns yet. I struggle with that too. I'm currently considering Beatrice, Imogen, Jane, Madailein, and Violet. If you've got any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
