I think Kyan nn Ky would be nice. I know a Kyan (rhyming with Ryan) and think it is a lovely name.I am however not a fan of Kai as I am from NZ and here Kai is the Maori word for food, so I dislike the association despite liking the sound.Malachi is nice but I am not a fan of Cairo

I'm from New Zealand too! Haha, that's why I only want it as a nickname, because i wouldn't want a child called food!

Would Cai get rid of that, since its spelled differently, or would that just be like calling your kid Foud?

That is funny. I hope kids with the name Kai do not go to New Zealand. They might get mistaken for food. That always makes me wonder about names and what they mean (as a word and not a name) in a different language. At least I know my name is safe.
