Nicknames for Anastasia/Anastazia/Anastazija
I love the name Anastasia / Anastazia / Anastazija / Anastaszia pronounced a-nə-stah-ZEE-yah.What nickname would you use? Ana / Anna? Zia? Stasi? Stasia? Any other suggestions?

With that pronunciation, Zia would be the easiest nn. Statia is an old nn for Anastasia (and Eustacia) - that might be another option.
I'd avoid Stasi, it's got quite nasty associations: https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Stasi

I know an Anastacia "Stacia" (prn STAY-sha). I also know an Anastasia "Ani". I know another Anastasia who is sometimes Anastasia and sometimes Anna. I'd probably use Ana is I had to pick a nn.

Ana/Anna... maybe even Anya, personally I like Anya best. And would porbably go with Anastazia or Anastasia as the spelling.

I'd expect Anne or Stacy, and I'd use Anne.

Funny, I brought up the name Anastasia around my dad a while back and he said he like the nn Stasia. I have no clue where that came from!
I like Zia, Tasia, and Stasia. I suppose you could get Annie, Taz, Stacy, or Nat out of it too.

For Anastasia, I like the full name enough that I'd prob'ly avoid the nn thing. Stasi is acceptable. Ana's really boring and overused imo. Other possibilities:
Zja
Nat would be a stretch, but doable.
Taz
Stase

I know a girl named Anastasia nicknamed Tasia and I really like that one. I also like Anya.

I work with a guy named Anastasios (officially), but he goes by Ernest (formally) and Stace normally. He has three daughters - all in their 30s, one name Anastasia (nn Annie), one named Stacey and one named Natasha.I guess I'd pick a nn that seemed less full namish, so not Anna or Staci. I don't care for Zia much, but I like Stasia. Natia would be my top one though.

How about Tasia, Asya, Nastya, Stasya, Taz, Tasie?
My faves are Ana, Zia and Asya.
