I like Lucian, which I pronounce "LOO-shen," but I prefer Lucius.

Luci "LOO-chee" sounds really pretty dumb to me, if you're not pronouncing the full name LOO-chee-un. It also sounds femmey. I'd just call him Lu (Lou) for short, myself.

I think there was a werewolf character named Lucian in the movie "Underworld" and it reminds me a little of that. Kinda one of those fey fantasy/gothish names, but more so when spelled Lucien. Anyway, that doesn't make me like it any less.

I know a boy who is 6 years old and he is Lucian pronounced LOO-shen and he gets called LOOch problem with that nickname is how you would spell it becuase if you spelt it Luc people would say Luke!

Luci is a nice nickname but you might get people saying Lucy!

Well LOO-shen is the correct pronunciation for this spelling of the name while Lucien is said LOO-see-en. So I say Lucian your way and Lucien LOO-see-en. Luci is a cute nickname. I really like Lucian and think it's quite handsome.
