just FYI :) I think the term "Siamese Twins" is now considered to be racist or derogatory, though the history behind the term is accurate (for the famous Thai ["Siamese" in the old days] twins Chang and Eng)I also like reading about "different people" like that. The Elephant Man is one of my favourite movies, I bawl my eyes out every time. I'll have to check out this book! Have you seen the 1932 movie "Freaks"? I want to see it quite badly but I cannot find it anywhere. anyways, I like these twosomes:Daisy and Violet
Millie and Christine
Masha and Dasha
Ritta and Christina
Mary and Eliza
Lotti (or Lette) and Rosemarie (or Gitta)
Emilie and Elisabeth (known collectively as "Emilisa") - that is so sad, known collectively. Emilisa is a beautiful name though.
