Neville
Neville has really been growing on me lately and a few days ago, I heard of a toddler named Neville. He is South African with British and German heritage. Do you think Neville is usable? Is the Harry Potter association too strong? Do you like it?

Neville Chamberlain is more like the problem, not a Harry Potter character.

It's a surname and I think it should be left as such.

I really like the name Neville, but that's due in part to the Harry Potter character. He's one of my favorites in the series.I definitely think it's usable!

Aww, it's totally usable and rather nice, and the HP association isn't a bad one.

Well, the only Neville I've heard of is the HP character, so to me it is tied to the book. But I liked him so it's not a bad thing, imo.

I've never made the Harry Potter association at all with Neville. For some reason, it reminds me of those rolly-polly bugs I see outside sometimes, or rather just bugs in general.

That Neville you met sounds adorable!I liked Neville in the HP books, so I like the name. I think the association will be fairly strong for a few more years, but maybe that is good. Otherwise Neville would just be another "old person name".

I liked Neville from HP too but I thought people would think he's a bad namesake because he's so clumsy...

Nah, he was a sweetie!

I like Neville and the HP character, so the name is an all round winner for me. =)
