I've seen it on a couple of British tv shows, and I think it's great. It could also work as a nn for Jessamyn / Jessamine, I think. But it may be a little too 'odd' for many here in the States, unfortunately, that and the sound of it reminds me of Tressame (sp?) shampoo. :b

I've heard it somewhere before, but it was a long time ago so I can't remember where I heard it. I read it in a name book recently and I remebered the name. I like it, but it's not something I'd use.

It's nice enough. A change from all the Jessicas everywhere. I've only ever met one Jessamy (pronounced: "JESS-a-mee"). Though now I look at it, it looks like a compound of Jess and Amy, though I would not pronounce it "JESS-ay-mee".

It's ok, but I like Jessamyn much better, maybe this is the name that you actually heard on the radio.

It sounds too much like sesame for me - and for some reason makes me think of someone in her pajamas.. it's not bad, though. I like Jessamine more.

It reminds me of the surname Bellamy, which I like so much more.

I sort of do actually, not sure why but it appeals to me on some level.

Not really, it reminds me too much of Jessica which is way too popular for me to ever like it.
