Thing is the name itself is usually not referring to water falling from the sky, so that's a moot point.

I'd love to know the etymology of the name "Rayne" or "Raighn" then -_-'

Don't know about Rayne except that it's prob'ly just a cr8tyv sp. of Raine, which is a nn or shortened version of Lorraine. Can click on it and check. Raighn I have not encountered.. and doubt I'd want to.
