I've only known one Raine (graduated with her in high school) and she spelled it like this ;o) It doesn't look as trendy as Rayne.

I like Raine because or a character called Moiraine. I also think Raine is more feminine and "elegant". But I know a really cute first-grader named Rayne...

I have the same thing about Lily and Scarlet, but for some reason I don't mind Raine.

Thing is the name itself is usually not referring to water falling from the sky, so that's a moot point.

I think Rain is the best spelling but Raine beats out Rayne by far. Rayne just looks like a bad typo in my opinion.

Don't know about Rayne except that it's prob'ly just a cr8tyv sp. of Raine, which is a nn or shortened version of Lorraine. Can click on it and check. Raighn I have not encountered.. and doubt I'd want to.
