I think Charlie is a cute nn for either a boy or a girl, but only as a nn. Personally, I prefer Charlotte over Charleine by a long shot. What about Charlize (yes, as in the actress) its definitely more casual than Charlotte but has more weight than Charlie (for me at least)?
