I think it's lovely, and I like both pronunciations, but I prefer suh-FEAR-ruh. I actually would be more inclined to pronounce Safira suh-FEAR-uh since it has an Arabic look to it even though it's Esperanto. It reminds me of Samira and Safiya.

Sapphira could really go either way, but it resembles the word "sapphire" more than Safira does, so it seems like people would be more likely to pronounce it suh-FYE-ruh than they would Safira.
