I think it's really pretty, with either pronunciation!

Makes me think of militants and death rays. But I am a strange individual.

mee-yah-RIE like Alcyone said is quite pretty, but my first instinct was MIL-la-ray. If going with the second pronounciation I prefer just Milla-Rae.

I think it's neat, and "golden flower" is a nice meaning. I could see it growing on me more. Apparently, it's pronounced mee-yah-RIE. I'm not too sure if I'm all that keen on the sound of it. The "mee-yah" part isn't all that appealing to me.

It seems like a lot of people would pronounce it MIL-a-ray in English-speaking countries. MIL-a-ray sounds nice, but that's definitely anglicized.
