I really like Lawrence, but I don't like any of the nicknames I can come up with! I don't really like Larry, well, I do, but can't use it and Laurie is too feminine here.

So, Lawrence nn suggestions?

I always struggle with nicknames for Lawrence/Laurence too. I can't quite pull myself over to Larry. Law is super cool.

I'd use Laurie, personally. Lawren / Lauren would be next bet, but it might be even more feminine nowadays than Laurie, especially in the school yard where there are more Laurens than Lauries. How about Laurent or Laur?

Aw man, but I like Laurie/Lawrie best! So I suppose you also wouldn't go for Loren? I've met at least 2 male Lorens, so I wouldn't say it's too feminine to use.

The second I saw you were asking for nicknames, I was ready to shout out, "LAURIE!" But it looks like you've already nixed that :( Hmm...the only others I can think of are maybe Ren, Lance, Lars, Lon, Lou...some of those are a bit of a stretch. What if you used Lawrence as a mn or just left it as Lawrence without a nn? Otherwise, I'd have to say my favorites are Laurie (couldn't help it) or Ren. Or Lou. The more I think about it, I kind of like Lou.
