My grandmother-in-law's name

Her name was spelled Veta I think, it could have been Vita. Her full name was Veta Amelia. I think it's pretty. Definitely a great match with Arlo. Clover and Clara both stick out in two different directions though.

I really like Vita, which I prefer to Vida, and I think it fits absolutely perfectly with Arlo and relatively well with Clover and Clara.

I like the spelling Vita better than Vida; it looks more regal, straight-edged. I like Vita with Arlo and Clover, but I'm a little iffy about Clara and Vita for some reason. The more I say the two together, though, the better they seem to fit. I thikn Vita is really lovely. It feels very Victorian - short and sweet but still sassy.

I prefer Vida! I think its a beautiful name, I like Vida with Arlo and Clara, I guess it works with Clover but its a little more out of place.

Well, they both mean life but I think I like Vita (Latin/Italian) better than Vida (Spanish). The T makes the name snappier and vivacious (see! life!).

Arlo, Clara, and Vita are really nice. Clover seems a bit out of place but a nice name all the same.

Vita reminds me of the British writer Vita Sackville-West. I think her full name was Victoria. It has an arsty, intellectual vibe that I dig. I never knew it was derived from Vitus. Thanks for the new knoweldge. :-)

Vida is nice too. It reminds me of Matthew McConnaghy's (sp?) dd Vida. They named her for the Spanich word for life, which I thought was pretty sweet.

If I were choosing between the two, it would depend on which vibe I wanted: Northern European, crisp Vita or Mediterranean, sultry Vida. I don't know if you have different ways of looking at the two so I can't really say which is better for you. For what it's worth, I can see both Vita and Vida fitting into your spunky sibling set quite easily.

I like Vita as a nn for Evita or Vitalia
