I prefer it with a double N in general, and the spelling I'm used to is Anneke. Where I live it's trite for the middle-aged to elderly and not much used for children, if at all.

I way prefer Annika but overall I like the name.

I think it's pretty. My cousin's name is Annika Lane (pro. AH-ni-kah).
