Help with Russian family in story
It's not so much a family as a broken family; here's the scenerio: the main character falls in love with this russian man Vladimir Orlov, who has seperated from his wife after the death of their young daughter. I can't decide on names for the wife or daughter, here's what I have so far for the wife: (and the nn are optional too)Anastasiya (Nastya)
Mariya (Masha)
Svetlana (Lana)
Yekaterina (Katya)
Yelena, Elena (Lena)
Nataliya (Natasha) and for the daughter:Mariya (Masha)
Ludmila (Lyuda) -- means love, and I thought that might be symbolic
Nadezhda (Nadya)
Liliya (Lilya)
Oksana
Dariya (Dasha)
Nataliya (Natasha) ALSO, the main character ends up having a child by Vlad without his knowledges, she's married to someone else, and it's all a big secret. I was thinking of having her name her child--a girl--after Vlad's dead daughter. What do you think of that idea? a bit much?Thanks!--Nadia
