It's a wonderful name, in my top 10 at least.
Love it!
awesome
I love palindrome names! It's one of the few old school Biblical names that I can totally get behind.

I think it is pretty ok. It's a little Biblical for me which I have a love-hate relationship with, but it is wonderfully deep and quirky at the same time. It's neat, which is a good thing to be sure. Rating, I'd give it a 7 out of 10. Not my favourite, but still very much appreciated.
I've often wondered why Asa isn't more popular. It's got the nn Ace built in. :-)
Perhaps there's a difference of opinion on pronunciation. I've always said it, "AY-suh." But now that I think about it, perhaps there are those you say, "AH-suh" sounding more Scandinavian. But I'm guessing at this.
Anyway, I'm all for more Asas in the nursery school classes.

It's one of my favorite boys' names. I love the fact that it's old-world, and uncommon without being completely unheard of. I give it a 10.

I've seen it as a male and female name, but I've never actually heard it in real life. I relate it to Asa Buchanon on One Life to Live, and then there was a book I read that had a rich high school girl named Asa. I have no other opinion.
