I much prefer the altogether Annemarie. It seems more poetic than Anne Marie or Anne-Marie.
I also occasionally consider Annemarie (as well as Anna Maria) as a way to try to honour a Mary Anne and a Mariana together in one go while still giving a child their own name.
Annemarie Frances Roland is gorgeous beyond compare. So gentle and wistful-sounding and looking. It makes me think of a lady novelist or poet that writes gently but bravely, like Emily Dickinson. There is such a delicate faded beauty about it.
