Paula
I never gave Paula much thought, but an elderly man mistook my name for Paula (Jen? Paula? Oh, well.). He looked so pleased and thought Paula was such a pretty name that I didn't correct him. :)So what do you think of Paula? What middle names would you put with it?

Paula could have the nn Polly, which would be good. I'm not delighted by it, but it's miles better than lazy, flabby Pauline.I was at school with a Paula Catherine Mary!

I knew a little Paula Sofia last summerShe was two then and was the sweetest little girl I have ever met. Very very smart too, also bilingual. Completely shifted my view of the name from being "eh" to adorable. Personally I like the sound of Paola a little more (it's just fun to say) but they're both very sweet names.

I don't really like Paula - I am not a fan of Paul either. My husband & I used to work with a Paula - she was a nightmare. So that has coloured my view of it a little. I like Paola though & Pablo :) My husband's cousin is called Pablo.Paula Rose

It's probably my least favorite of the Paul names, but it's still nice. I've known a couple of very nice girls named Paula, so that helps. It would be kind of neat to meet a little Paula. :DPaula Bethany

This was the name of my best childhood friend. I've never liked it much. I don't care much at all for feminized versions of male names, particularly those which are feminized simply by adding an A. They don't seem feminine *enough* to me. Paul is a short, blunt, masculine name, and adding an A just isn't enough to make it a girl's name! One big exception is Victoria, which, because of the added I and the change in emphasis on the syllables from Victor, seems very feminine.

Paula is my aunt's name, and she's the only one I've ever known. So it's hard to have any feelings about it as a name. It's nice enough, I suppose. My aunt's name is Paula Kaye... boring.Paula Bronwen? Hmm, I like this a lot.
Paula Catherine
Paula Effie - I don't know, seemed cute
Paula Harriet
Paula Jane - Jane is nice with P names for some reason.
Paula Maureen
Paula Penelope? Hee, fun
Paula VivianYeah, it's really hard to look and say that name and not only think of my aunt.

I actually think it would be super cute to meet a toddler named Paula Kay. Or Paula Fay! AWWWW. Yeah.

I'm not sure why her name isn't Paula Faye. Faye was my grandmother's mother's middle name, and it's also her sister's middle name. Not sure where Kaye came from at all... filler, like my mom's middle name, I guess.I do like the way those look without the -e when combined with Paula.

Paula was one of my supervisors from a long, long time ago. Well, maybe not THAT long ago lol. She was a sweet lady but I find the name somewhat dated and not a good dated either. It would be a great honoring name, though, for a Paul. ..... Actually, come to think of it, I think my Paula was named after her dad, Paul. Hmm.
