It's still unattractive to me no matter how it's spelled, but you can like it if you want to. It's become a trendy preppy name these days in a similar category to
Brandon,
Brendan,
Ethan and
Liam... none of which are in any way attractive to me... Thus, regardless of its history, it still qualifies as a rather yuppie name in our current society... at least in N. Am. anyway.
May be different in GB and
Ireland, but where I am, it really falls into that trendy preppy name category for this generation. Next generation, something else will fit that category.
