Re: Navarra and Amara

Normally I'd say it was too close for sibs, but obviously you won'y need to call them both at the same time.
My son that was stillborn was named Riley, and I decided on Milo for my next boy without realizing until weeks later that Riley and Milo are kind of close. The middle sounds and letters are exactly the same but I didn't notice when I first picked it out. I'm not changing it though.
It's kind of a personal choice for you to make. If you like the name than go for it, but if it is going to make you feel sad whenever you say it then you might want to change it.

Thank you thank you Laura W...my Navarra was stillborn at 38 weeks...what a coincidence that someone that responded to my post also had a stillbirth (I am very sorry to hear of your loss)...mine was a cord accident. I just had another girl 2 weeks ago and I am thinking I gave her the wrong name and should have gone with Amara instead of Soraya (Suh-ray-uh). Something just doesn't feel right. .
I'm sorry about your loss too.
My stillbirth was at 30 weeks and was unexplained, they don't know what happened. It sucks, cuz I'm really freaked out this time cuz I don't even know what I am trying to prevent from happening again.
Soraya and Amara are both nice names, you should use whichever one feels right.

Might want to avoid any amniocentesis (sp?) tests then 'cause they increase the risk of late term miscarriage... and they have a high false positive rate too for what they are, making them unreliable anyway.
