I absolutely would NOT spell it differently. The only alternate spelling that I find even sort of okay is Raine. Reign = ugh on so many levels. =(
I think Rain is a nice name, just a little too downbeat for most people to pull off all the time. It's girl-only for me. Rain Cordelia is nice.
