I would love love love to use it someday. I do have the concern though that it's a little "out there"/ a bit of a mouthful for a child and I worry that my son would hate me for it. I would suggest to use it as a mn but if you're like me than it's just not the same right? Sorry I'm not much of a help haha.

Yes, exactly! I would love to use it as a first name. I'm brave enough to do it, but I really wouldn't want him to be teased. It's unfortunate that people can be so small minded - just because you're not used to something doesn't mean it's weird.
Amadeus is so strong and full of so much character! I can just imagine an adorable little boy with such a big strong name... so cute! Ugh. I really would love to use it as a fn.
