Rene as they're the masculine spellings.
How would you spell it? Do you know many who have it (first or middle name)?

It's pretty much seen as a boys name in Germany and a bit 80s at that (many people here don't realize there's a feminine form, I guess).
Would you use it in a country in which it is generally perceived as a male name? Had the same problem with
Noah which I love for a girl. Well at least most people would be able to tell she's a girl by the spelling, right?
