i names my 5 month old daughter Pearl Evangeline Sheena (Sheena after mil who died before she was born. Pearl joins brother Elijah David and sister Iris Matilda. i am happy with all my kids names and i love the name Pearl and everyone comments on how unusual it is and how they like it. HOWEVER . . . she was recently introduced to some relatives who live a way away and they said we should have used Pearl as a middle name as it is too out there and called her EVe something more 'normal'. THis is bearing in mind i am in England and Elijah and Iris are also very unusual here and not even in top 1000, yet they never commented on these.
What do you think?
Is Pearl better as a middle or first name?
Wont be offfended promise as i love it and wouldn't change it for teh world.
