When I see Poppy I sometimes have to double-take to not read it "poopy." It's not a huge deal but I don't enjoy that about it!I think they are a similar naming style though not quite the same. If you were comparing Poppy and Molly I would say the same as they both strike me as being that trendy, almost quaint, 'old fashioned if it wasn't so in style' feel. Because Polly is less common, at least to my experience, I would consider it to be (in a good way!) a quaint and charming sort of choice that seems more thoughtful than the trendier Poppy.
