I knew one once: she was a maths teacher. Nice woman; nice name; but I prefer Alice, which looks like the tinkling of ice in a tall glass. Alys looks fiery rather than icy for some reason.

It definitely looks kr8tyv to me.
I looked at it and thought you'd pronounce it Ah-liss rather than Al-is. Which is OK, but a little awkward.

I'm not a fan of Alice anyway, but Alys definitely (to me at least) appears to be a completely different name in sound and connotation from Alice.

I prefer it to Alice. Alice is too sweet and goody-goody for me. I like the Medieval feel of Alys.

Alys is one of the very few variant spellings of a name that I enjoy. It looks so wonderfully medieval!

I usually prefer traditional spellings, but Alys is an exception: it looks very graceful, although there's always the risk of mispronunciation.
Call me crazy, but Lys would make a cute nickname

I like Alys! I don't think it looks kre8tive, but I'm afraid that some people will think it's a kre8tive spelling of Alice. I like Alice even more though.

I think it looks like a trendy spelling of Alice. I do not care for it at all.

I like this spelling better than Alice, because Alice contains the word "lice" in it. However, it does look somewhat contrived, even though it may be Alice's predecessor.

I love this spelling. I like the look of this spelling.
